Start your Uganda safari tour very early in the morning from Entebbe/Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara city route which allows you make a stopover at Equator crossing in Kayabwe. Enjoy views of the beautiful surrounding areas en-route and arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second largest park.
Undertake an afternoon launch trip on Kazinga Channel, a 45kms channel that stretches to connect 2 magical lakes; Lake George and Lake Edward. For about 2-3 hours on a boat cruise, expect to excite yourself with remarkable sights of submerged hippos, Nile crocodiles as they bask on the banks, aquatic birds and others.

Have an early morning breakfast at hotel and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides. During the briefing, you are allocated a gorilla group and escorted by a ranger guide, each group with 8 trekkers in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas, this is because they are in their natural habitat and can move as much as they want.
However, with the rangers you are guaranteed to see the gorillas since they are tracked every day and therefore, they will take you to where they have spent their day.
After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed 1 hour with them up close. Take photos and see the gorilla group interact, in no time the 1 hour will be gone and you will have to return to the park headquarters.
You are welcomed back and given a congratulatory certificate. Thereafter, you are transferred to your hotel for late lunch and check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Enjoy a boat ride along Lake Bunyonyi to anyone of the 29 islands. On a boat ride, expect to enjoy sight of birds and magical view of surrounding areas then you relax, dine and spend a night at the lodge.
