The 5 days safari in Uganda package takes you on chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest National Park and gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The two adventures are offered a break by a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife tour.
Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 primate species. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to 20 habituated gorilla families and over 459 mountain gorillas.

Start your 5-6 hours’ drive to Kibale Forest National Park after your breakfast at the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Drive through Mityana-Mubende then stop for lunch break in Fort Portal Tourism City. Proceed to Kibale Forest 26kms away from Fort Portal and you will check in at the booked lodge for overnight stay.

Rise up early, have breakfast and after, chimpanzee trekking starts at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre with briefing on guidelines and also for you to be assigned experienced park guide.
Start the forest trek at 8:00am on your 2-4 hours’ chimp search and once you find them, have a maximum of 1 hour with them.
Kibale Forest National Park is endowed with 13 primate species and they include over 1500 chimpanzees. Many other primates can also be spotted on chimp trek ranging from grey cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons, L’Hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys.
Walk back to the lodge after exploring a habituated chimpanzee community. Enjoy your lunch and in the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland just adjacent Kibale Forest.
Take part in Bigodi guided nature walk and stand a chance to have a close view of diverse primates for instance olive baboons, L’Hoest monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, red colobus monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys plus birds that make up 138 avifaunal species in this wetland sanctuary to mention but a few.

Leave hotel after breakfast at Kibale Forest National Park for a drive to Bwindi National Park a home to endangered mountain gorillas which remain not more than 1063 today.
Navigate via Ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park for you to capture remarkable views of tree climbing lions as they are relaxed on tree branches. Check into the lodge in Bwindi for dinner in the evening and overnight.

Transfer to the park offices and meet the park official at Bwindi Park offices for briefing on gorilla trekking rules as soon as you are done taking breakfast. Undertake your adventure after briefing and once you have been assigned a gorilla family.
The park guide takes lead as you follow on a search for mountain gorillas and this usually takes 2-6 hours. Your expedition includes one hour of face to face interaction, photography and learning more about gorillas.
Return thereafter your close interaction to get a certificate for gorilla trekking and later, have some relaxation. Later, take a walk to Batwa community the renowned keepers of the forest. The Batwa experience is amazing and interactive!

Begin your day with breakfast and then get on the vehicle for a drive back to Kampala/Entebbe. This is a long road trip but you will have a lunch break en-route at Igongo Cultural Centre.
Relax at Equator crossing and later have some souvenirs at Mpambire Drum Makers before drop off to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight.
